Women In Action
Ministry Vision
"The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things -- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed." Tutus 2: 3-5 (NKJV)
Activities
Bible studies (TBA) minimum of twice a year.
- One (1) mid-year fellowship with guest speaker (TBA)
- Participate in at least one Ministry of Mercy in the community
- Conduct one service project with the youth girls. (With approval of youth leader)
- One (1) "Ladies' Day Out" function. (Lunch, shopping, etc.)
- A weight management workshop (Upon completion of new facilities)
- A skin care/make-over workshop
Mentor A Child
Mentor a child for six months or a year -this may include spending time with them, praying with and for them, remembering their birthday, or engaging in any activity you feel will build spiritual and social character in or children at HFC.
